GBP Safety Charter

Nothing touches Google until you approve it

These are the rules for how Commander's agent is allowed to touch a Google Business Profile. They are short on purpose. If an AI tool can't show you its rules, it doesn't have any.

01

Drafts only

Every post, profile edit, and review reply the agent writes is a draft. The agent cannot publish to a profile on its own.

02

A person approves

Each draft waits in the review queue until someone on your team approves it, edits it, or sends it back. There is no bulk-approve of things nobody has read.

03

A record of everything

What was proposed, what changed, who approved it, and when. If Google asks what happened to a profile, you can answer.

04

Paced edits

Profile changes go out at a human pace. A category, a set of services, new hours: one change at a time, with a reason, not a burst.

05

No mass changes on a new profile

A newly connected or newly verified profile gets no bulk edits. It is the profile most likely to be suspended, and the one where patience costs least.

Why we wrote it down

Anyone who manages profiles for a living has been told to keep AI away from them, and the advice was earned. Tools that publish on their own, in bulk, from a template, are how a profile gets suspended, and a suspension appeal is a week of someone's life.

So the question is not whether to use an agent on a profile. It is whether the agent has rules, and whether you can read them. Commander drafts. A person decides. That is the whole charter, and the rest is detail.

We run our own clients' profiles on these rules first. When we add a rule, it goes here before it goes anywhere else.
